You've got to hear this

So pick yourself up off of the floor. It is me, Lindy, not Mikayla, and I needed to post this so you could all listen to this amazing song. A friend of mine sent it to me and I was so impressed by the emotion I felt I knew you would all love it. Enjoy!

Hi

Hi everyone reading! It is officially yours truly, MIKAYLA WILSON! Ba-para-Baaa!I rarely get to be on the blog, so I want to contribute an article to...myself! Ha! As you all know (but maybe not) November 6th was OFFICIALLY my birthday! So more the reason I should be typing about myself. Tribute to Matt

For those of you who didn't know, today is Matthew's birthday. And since I haven't posted in eons, I decided this would be a great way to redeem myself. So...Happy Birthday to my babe! I love you and everything about you. I love our life together and look forward to many many more of those yummy carrot cake birthdays - (thanks Mother Tammy for the family tradition). So blow out those candles and lets dance! Love you the most. Love, Me

Hurry! They're sleeping!

So i figured I would try to get something written before the wee ones woke up and before the others came home. Today has been quite the day to say the least. The wonderful world of communication never ceases to amaze me and as hard as I try sometimes, more often than not, I find myself either misunderstanding or being misunderstood. My mother told me that there just isn't any more peace in the world and that everyone, yes everyone, is going through some kind of hard time. i couldn't agree more. Therefore, this post, will remain quite simple. You see, someone once said, what do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other? I am grateful for mothers and mothers-in-law who can see the picture clearly and do their best to help you feel like you are doing yours; for husbands who support without judgement and love unconditionally; for friends and family that push through the muck, staying true to their convictions, without questioning the source or the reason . And for best friends that are willing to give me one more chance. I love you all.

Maybe you should sit down.

Okay so this is it. Last night I was checking my email and low and behold there is an email from Mikayla's new activity days leader. Ladies and gentlemen- if she can do it - SO CAN I! I agree with the fact that this has gotten to be completely ridiculous and even though I have no camera to post beautiful pictures of my children, I can start somewhere. So, here it goes! Just be patient and I'll do my best!

Hello, world. Meet the newest member of our family...

We are happy to introduce Elizabeth (Ellie) Dawn Wilson. Born just after 2am on April 20th. She weighed in at a whopping 9lbs. 1oz. at the end of a complication-free labor. Both she and Lindy are doing very well, a little tired, but that's to be expected. We want to thank everyone for the phone calls, emails and love. It has meant a lot to us. Even the nurses and Doctor who helped us were some of the best we have ever had. Except for the one ugly nurse who couldn't find Lindy's vein for the I.V.

I know you've been dying to see what she looks like. Well, as you can tell, she really doesn't look like any of our other kids (that we can see). She filled the black hair slot, the only one left after a blonde, brown and 2 reds. Now we're just waiting to see what crazy spirit and personality quarks she brings with her. We haven't ceased to be surprised by the other ones.

Mikayla, Dallin and Spencer are all very excited about the baby. Dallin has been praying for a healthy baby, reluctantly adding "Even if it is a girl." Megan, on the otherhand, is a little more unsure of what's going on. She's got a little Jeckyl-and-Hyde thing going on. One minute she's a Beauty and the next...the Beast. I'm sure she just needs to get used to the fact that she's not the only thing in Mom's life anymore. We'll see how it goes.
